Job Requirements
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
- Must be able to count cash and make change
- Read, write and speak English fluently
- Must be able to work semi-independently
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other associates
- Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the hotel
Job Qualifications
- Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the hotel
- Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision by following all Hyatt Place standards
- Intermediate level computer skills and knowledge of MS Excel required
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Read, write, and speak English fluently
- Must be able to count cash and make change
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other associates
Job Duties
- Greet all guests with a warm welcome
- Check guests in and out of rooms, as well as assigning rooms to guests
- Answer telephones and take messages when needed
- Make, confirm, or cancel guest reservations
- Assist guests when shuttle services are requested
- Compute bills and collect payment for guests
- Replenish computer paper supply
- Assist night audit team members with posting and balancing of shift work
- Attend all meetings as requested or assigned
- Complete special projects as assigned by management
- Manage the breakfast shift when scheduled as breakfast coverage
