Job Duties
- Greet patients and visitors in person and over the phone in a professional, patient-focused manner
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments to optimize provider time and patient flow
- Register new patients and update existing patient records, including demographics and insurance details
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits using payer systems
- Collect copays and outstanding balances at time of service
- Post charges accurately in line with provider documentation and coding guidelines
- Answer and triage incoming calls, directing inquiries to appropriate clinical or administrative staff
- Maintain organized patient records, including scanning, filing, and fax management
- Support daily reporting and reconciliation of front office financials
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient experience
