This position is a full-time role within the rooms division, specifically for a Front Desk Agent. The primary responsibility of the Front Desk Agent at Hotel Flor Tampa is to be the welcoming face of the hotel, delivering exceptional, engaging service to guests from check-in through their stay. This includes managing guest registration, handling credit and payment details accurately, and addressing any special guest requests promptly and efficiently. The Front Desk Agent acts as a knowledgeable resource about hotel amenities and the surrounding local area. A key part of the role is problem-solving and guest recovery to ensure any issues are resolved to exceed guest expectations. The agent will also promote and sell hotel programs, maintain a balance of financial transactions including the house bank, and communicate effectively with all hotel departments to support smooth operations. This position requires the ability to handle a fast-paced environment with professionalism while maintaining attention to detail and a positive demeanor. Job Duties

  • Help guests discover their Wanderlust experience
  • Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest
  • Check guests in, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is established
  • Help to resolve problems and WOW guests through recovery when things aren’t quite right
  • Promote and sell special hotel programs
  • Interact with hotel/resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
  • Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and policies
  • Maintain house bank
  • Communicate all pertinent information to manager on duty
  • Follow set procedures on posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds
  • Assist other departments as needed
