The Front-of-the-House (FOH) Team Member role is integral to our restaurant's success and guest satisfaction. This position focuses on delivering an exceptional and memorable dining experience that consistently exceeds guest expectations. The FOH Team Member leads through service, embodying the company’s core values of respect, loyalty, and commitment to excellence. This role requires active engagement with guests to ensure their needs are met and to address any issues promptly and professionally. The candidate will work closely with restaurant managers and fellow team members both in the front and back of the house to meet common goals, creating a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.
Responsibilities include interacting directly with guests at various points of service, taking and entering orders accurately into the POS system, and ensuring the restaurant maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation according to health department guidelines. The FOH Team Member is expected to maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude, demonstrating passion and dedication to their role. This position requires punctual participation in team meetings and a willingness to contribute ideas for continuous improvement. Job Requirements
- at least 16 years of age
- able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 35 pounds frequently
- able to stand for long periods
- able to work in a fast-paced environment
- able to hear with 100% accuracy with correction
- able to see 20/20 with correction
- have or obtain California Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service certification
- maintain certifications throughout employment
- clean non-slip shoes
- socks must be worn
- clean black non-denim pants
- clean company-supplied shirt, name tag, and apron
- daily bathing and use of deodorant
