Job Requirements

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds
  • Able to work standing for up to 8 hours occasionally
  • Able to hear with 100 percent accuracy with correction
  • Able to see 20/20 with correction
  • Must have or obtain California Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service certification prior to commencing work and maintain it throughout employment
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must wear clean non-slip shoes, socks, clean black non-denim pants, company-supplied shirt, nametag, and apron
  • Adhere to daily hygiene standards including bathing and use of deodorant

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast casual restaurant preferred but not required
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to read and speak English
  • Passionate, fun, positive, and results-oriented personality
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to meet physical demands including standing for long periods and lifting up to 35 pounds with team lifting as needed
  • Compliance with California Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service certification before starting work

Job Duties

  • Leads through service and supports the restaurant team
  • Maintains team and guest focus during shifts by demonstrating respect and loyalty
  • Works as a restaurant partner collaborating with managers and team members
  • Ensures service standards are maintained through personal guest interaction
  • Engages with guests to exceed expectations and assists in guest recovery
  • Participates in preorder taking, order entry into POS, and packing of equipment and food
  • Adheres to health department and sanitation standards while keeping the restaurant clean
  • Attends scheduled team meetings and contributes ideas for improvement
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management
