The Front of House Staff position is an essential role within our team, focused on enhancing the customer experience by providing attentive, friendly service and ensuring smooth day-to-day café operations. Employees in this role are responsible for taking accurate customer orders, preparing beverages following standardized recipes, handling cash and card transactions with precision, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This role also involves assisting with food presentation and packaging, monitoring inventory levels, and upholding the brand’s protocols and standards to maintain our reputation for quality and hospitality.

As a Front of House team member, you will be the face of our establishment, tasked with delivering excellent customer service while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Your interaction with customers plays a pivotal role in their satisfaction and loyalty. You will ensure that every guest receives a warm and professional experience, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints positively and efficiently. Additionally, you will promote featured menu items and seasonal specials, helping to enhance sales and customer enjoyment.

This role requires a strong attention to detail and organizational skills, especially in maintaining cleanliness and complying with food safety regulations. You will also help monitor stock levels of essential consumables and assist with restocking, contributing to the café’s smooth operation. We offer competitive pay ranging from $14 to $16 per hour, depending on experience and skill level, along with comprehensive benefits for full-time positions.

Job Duties

  • maintain knowledge of all products to confidently answer customer questions
