Job Description
Lost Forty Brewing is a renowned production craft microbrewery located in the vibrant heart of downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. Known for its innovative and flavor-rich beers, Lost Forty Brewing draws inspiration from the unique and storied Arkansas forest, embodying a wild and unwavering spirit in every brew crafted. The company has established itself as a favorite destination for beer lovers who appreciate quality, creativity, and a commitment to authentic local flavors. As a company deeply rooted in community and culture, Lost Forty Brewing prides itself on creating an inviting and engaging atmosphere for both employees and customers. The brewery combines the art of brewing with a dedication to excellence and collaboration, making it a standout establishment within Arkansas and the greater craft brewing community. The company's mission is not only to produce exceptional beers but also to foster a culture where innovation, respect, and guest experience are prioritized and celebrated. Lost Forty Brewing continually seeks to build a passionate and diverse team that shares their vision of delivering outstanding service alongside great beer.
Currently, Lost Forty Brewing is hiring for several pivotal hospitality positions including Hospitality Lead, Hospitality Assistant, Server, and Bartender. These roles are essential in maintaining the high standards of guest service and operational efficiency that the brewery is known for. The Hospitality Lead is a dynamic and personable role designed to redefine guest interactions. Serving as the first point of contact, the Hospitality Lead ensures every guest receives a warm welcome, efficient seating, and attentive, sincere service throughout their visit. This role transcends traditional hosting duties, resembling that of a maitre'de, with a focus on elevating the overall guest experience. It is an opportunity to set service standards, manage the flow of customer interactions, and represent the brewery's values in a leadership capacity.
The Hospitality Assistant supports this effort by enhancing the efficiency of service execution, managing table turns, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and updating seating statuses which are vital for smooth operations during busy periods. Supporting both the hospitality team and guests, this role is crucial in ensuring a seamless dining experience.
Servers at Lost Forty Brewing play an essential role in guest satisfaction by engaging with patrons, guiding them through the menu including food and drink options, handling orders, processing payments, and maintaining overall guest service quality. Their focus is on friendly, knowledgeable interaction, with attention to detail concerning menu items and allergens, ensuring guests feel well cared for and understood.
Bartenders bring expertise in mixing and serving alcoholic beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar, verifying customer age, and offering recommendations that enrich the drinking experience at the brewery. They also contribute to the lively ambiance of the taproom, interfacing with customers directly and supporting the broader service team. Age requirements state that candidates must be at least 19 years old for most positions and 21 years old for bartenders, in compliance with legal regulations concerning alcohol sales.
These full-time roles offer a range of shifts that provide scheduling flexibility including morning, night, 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts that cater to various lifestyle needs. Compensation ranges from $2.63 to $20.00 per hour depending on role and experience, reflecting the company's commitment to fair pay. Additionally, Lost Forty Brewing provides a competitive benefits package including dental insurance, health insurance, vision insurance, paid time off, paid training, tuition reimbursement, employee discounts, and flexible scheduling. This comprehensive approach ensures that employees are supported both professionally and personally as they develop their careers within the hospitality and craft beer industry. Joining Lost Forty Brewing means becoming part of a community that values quality, creativity, customer experience, and team collaboration, making it an exciting opportunity for those passionate about hospitality and craft brewing.
