  • reliable availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays typical of hospitality schedules
  • basic cash handling and comfort using a POS system
  • able to perform simple math quickly
  • ability to stand and move for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs when assisting with set-up or bussing
  • legal authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to meet any local age requirements for service staff

Job Qualifications

  • able to perform simple math quickly

  • legal authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to meet any local age requirements for service staff
  • experience in fast-casual, casual dining, or bar settings
  • food handler certification or alcohol service training such as TIPS or ServSafe a plus
  • bilingual ability, especially Spanish, to better serve diverse guests
  • demonstrated teamwork, punctuality, and interest in progressing to lead or supervisory roles

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests with a positive, professional attitude and maintain the dining room’s welcoming vibe
  • take accurate orders and operate the POS system efficiently to ensure smooth service flow
  • deliver food and beverages promptly
  • assist with drink runs and bus tables as needed
  • process payments, handle cash and card transactions responsibly, and follow tip-pooling procedures
  • maintain cleanliness and safety standards on the floor, including reset of tables and timely clearing
  • support kitchen and bar staff during peak times by expediting orders and communicating guest needs
  • assist with opening, closing, and basic sidework tasks while adhering to company policies and local regulations
