Job Description

Our restaurant located in the vibrant community of West Knoxville is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as servers. As a well-established dining destination, our establishment prides itself on delivering exceptional culinary experiences paired with top-notch customer service. This server role is crucial as servers are the primary point of contact for our guests, playing a vital part in shaping their overall dining experience. The role entails managing a section of four tables, taking guest orders for food and drinks, and entering orders accurately using a point-of-sale system. Maintaining cleanliness throughout the guest's visit is essential, as is presenting the check and settling bills efficiently. Servers also collaborate with support staff to ensure seamless service and complete all tasks required by end-of-shift procedures. This position not only offers a chance to interact with diverse customers but also serves as a stepping stone for career progression within the restaurant through advancement to a trainer, lead server, or floor manager role. We are seeking team members who are attentive, personable, and ready to contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for every guest.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • good physical stamina
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • basic math skills for handling payments
