Job Description

Chick-fil-A Arden Fair is a distinguished restaurant located in the heart of Sacramento, known for its commitment to exceptional hospitality and community engagement. As a part of the national Chick-fil-A brand, which is celebrated for its high standards in food quality and customer service, the Arden Fair location aims to be the most caring restaurant in the area. Situated in an urban and bustling environment, this establishment is dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences through friendly service and operational excellence. Their mission emphasizes not just serving delicious food but also fostering a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and cared for with every visit.

The role of Front of House Operations Manager at Chick-fil-A Arden Fair is an exciting and dynamic leadership position that requires a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on management. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about driving team performance and operational success. Offering competitive pay ranging from $26.00 to $28.00 per hour, this position includes an 8-hour shift schedule, Monday through Saturday, with specific expectations for availability, including holidays and Sundays off.

As a Front of House Operations Manager, you will act as a vital leader in the restaurant, ensuring the smooth flow of all front-of-house operations. Your leadership will directly influence the guest experience, staff engagement, and overall efficiency of the restaurant. You will take full ownership of the restaurant zones, making informed staffing decisions to meet labor goals while maintaining high standards of cash handling and operational accountability. This role involves supervising team leads, enforcing Chick-fil-A’s policies and standards consistently, and providing coaching and documentation to support team member growth.

Guest satisfaction is paramount in this position, requiring the manager to handle guest issues and complaints with professionalism and care both on-site and over the phone. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will be responsible for managing cash drawers, using operational tools and logs, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. This position also involves authorizing employee functions such as meal approvals and time punch adjustments.

The ideal candidate will bring a detail-oriented and organized approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities that may rapidly evolve during a shift. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, combined with a self-driven, assertive, and flexible work style, will support success in this role. Collaboration is key, as is the ability to independently solve problems, set goals, and execute effective solutions. Developing and mentoring young team members in both their technical skills and interpersonal abilities is an important aspect of this leadership role.

Proficiency in leveraging technology and adapting quickly to new systems will enhance your efficiency in managing labor and operational workflows. This role not only offers an opportunity to lead in a well-established, customer-focused restaurant but also to contribute significantly to the Chick-fil-A community’s culture of care and hospitality. The Front of House Operations Manager is positioned to make a meaningful impact by aligning day-to-day operations with Chick-fil-A’s values and standards at the Arden Fair location. This rewarding role combines leadership challenges with substantial growth opportunities in the restaurant management field.
