The role of Front of House Operations Manager at Chick-fil-A Arden Fair is a critical leadership position that demands a dynamic individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The manager will take a hands-on leadership approach to ensure the smooth function of all restaurant zones while upholding the Chick-fil-A standard of excellence. Responsible for overseeing the front of house operations, this role requires ensuring efficient staffing, managing cash handling processes, supervising shift operations, and enforcing company policies. The candidate will lead with assertiveness and care, fostering a positive culture that encourages team growth, accountability, and exceptional customer service.

Additionally, the front of house operations manager will serve as a problem solver for both team members and guests, addressing issues and complaints promptly, both in-person and via phone. This role is pivotal in maintaining operational efficiency by monitoring equipment and overseeing maintenance to prevent disruptions. Beyond operational duties, the manager will also be responsible for authorizing certain employee functions such as meal approvals and time punch adjustments. This position offers a full-time engagement with a strong set of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days, 401k plans after six months, scholarship opportunities, and paid time off.

This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple fluctuating priorities. Job Requirements

  • Full-time, 40 hrs per week
  • Must have open availability: Monday - Saturday
  • Available to work holidays
  • Must be over the age of 18
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of leadership and management restaurant experience
  • ServSafe certified (within 30-days of hire)
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Skilled in labor management
  • Proficient in technology and quick to learn new systems
  • Ability to develop and mentor young team members
  • Assertive and flexible with strong problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Take ownership and keep a pulse on all restaurant zones ensuring all areas of the business are flowing smoothly and guests are being served
  • Make appropriate staffing judgment calls to meet labor goals
  • Manage cash handling and ensure accountability
  • Oversee Team Leads are running shift efficiently
  • Consistently enforce Chick-fil-A's policies and standards with Team Members
  • provide coaching and documentation as necessary
  • Resolve guest issues and complaints appropriately, on site and over the phone
  • Count drawers throughout shifts
  • Use provided tools, forms and logs to support successful shifts and operations
  • Commit to hospitality using Chick-fil-A model of hospitality
  • Authorize employee functions requiring manager approval (employee meals, time punch adjustments, etc.)
  • Ensure all equipment works properly and that maintenance is done correctly
  • Completes other duties as assigned
