Job Description

Pluckers is a vibrant and rapidly growing restaurant chain renowned for its exceptional hospitality, high-quality food, and a people-first work culture. Founded in Austin, Texas, Pluckers has established itself as a leader in the restaurant industry, having been recognized multiple times as the Best Restaurant to Work For. Its commitment to fostering an inclusive, engaging, and supportive environment has earned it a spot in the Top 25 Businesses Overall to Work For by the Austin Business Journal. As a full-service restaurant, Pluckers prides itself not only on delivering delicious menu offerings but also on cultivating a workplace where employees thrive professionally and personally.

The company is in an exciting phase of expansion with plans to open 20 new restaurants across Texas over the next four years. This ambitious growth strategy means numerous opportunities for advancement within the organization, including 20 new General Manager positions and 120 new Assistant Manager and Front of House Manager roles. At Pluckers, career progression is only limited by your drive and determination. The management team, affectionately called "coaches," embody a hands-on leadership style that promotes mentorship, accountability, and team development. Coaches are expected to lead by example, showing dedication through hard work and a commitment to the growth of their teams.

This role focuses on the Front of House management position, which offers an attractive hourly pay of up to $25, combined with some of the best health insurance packages in the restaurant business. Pluckers covers 100 percent of health, dental, and vision insurance for all managers, amounting to an annual benefits value of $6,400. In addition, employees enjoy free meals valued at approximately $3,900 annually. The company’s comprehensive benefits package and compensatory standards are designed to ensure the well-being and satisfaction of its workforce.

To support employee success, Pluckers offers an intensive 8-week Assistant Coach training program known as Pluckers University. This program immerses new managers in the company's culture, sets clear expectations, and provides in-depth knowledge of Front of House operations, all taught the "Pluckers Way." While the company values prior experience, it places greater emphasis on personal attributes such as intelligence, analytical skills, assertiveness, passion, energy, tenacity, and the ability to inspire followership. Pluckers is confident that through its meticulous training programs and supportive culture, it can shape the right candidates into successful leaders within the restaurant industry.

The Front of House Manager position is ideal for motivated individuals looking to advance their restaurant careers, even if their experience is limited to roles such as hosting or serving. At Pluckers, ambition and a strong work ethic are the primary drivers of success. This opportunity offers a unique pathway for those eager to develop their leadership capabilities within a respected and expanding restaurant brand. If you are ready to take the next step, align with Pluckers' values, and possess the qualities necessary to lead teams effectively, the company encourages you to apply and join their team of dedicated professionals.
