Job Description
WildFin American Grill, located in Issaquah, is a vibrant and welcoming neighborhood restaurant known for its casual atmosphere and dedication to delivering high-quality dining experiences. Rooted deeply in the Pacific Northwest, WildFin focuses on sourcing the freshest ingredients from local seafood, fish, and produce to craft meals that reflect the best of the region. Along with a commitment to quality food, the establishment also offers a broad selection of local beers, wines, and spirits, catering to a diverse clientele who appreciate both flavor and atmosphere. The restaurant emphasizes not just great food but also excellent service, fostering a comfortable, friendly environment where guests feel at home. Known for its ongoing training program and support for career advancement, WildFin American Grill is a company that values its people as much as its patrons, creating a workplace where employees can grow professionally and personally.
The Front of the House Assistant Manager role at WildFin American Grill is a full-time position designed for an ambitious and dedicated individual who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment. The role includes a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $65,000 per year, based on experience and demonstrated results, with additional quarterly bonus potential. Compensation is calculated on an hourly basis for a 50-hour work week. This position offers 160 hours (equivalent to three weeks or more) of accrued annual paid time off, a set schedule with two consecutive days off, and the benefit of being closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Medical, vision, and dental benefits are available immediately upon employment, alongside food and meal benefits.
This leadership role is critical in ensuring exceptional guest service and efficient restaurant operations. The assistant manager is responsible for managing and training team members, promoting a culture of ownership and accountability, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and delivering a memorable hospitality experience to guests. Candidates should be motivated leaders with strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality. The role requires availability during nights, weekends, and holidays to support operational needs. Bar management experience is preferred but not required, with an emphasis on skills such as bar inventory management, ordering, and mixology.
WildFin American Grill prides itself on fostering a fun, respectful, and empowering workplace where management and crew alike have ownership over their results. The restaurant’s core values include delivering handcrafted quality and great value, having fun at work, cleanliness and safety, hiring and developing the best talent, and consistently providing guest-driven service. Future team members can expect opportunities for growth and professional development in a company that is expanding its footprint and continuously elevating its standards. WildFin is committed to equal employment opportunities and conducts background checks as part of the hiring process.
Applicants passionate about hospitality and interested in progressing their career in restaurant management are encouraged to apply. WildFin American Grill values its team and offers a rewarding career path with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Joining this team means becoming part of a community dedicated to outstanding service, quality food, and a welcoming guest experience every day.
