The Front of House Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and success of all front-of-house operations. This position is responsible for the recruitment, training, and productivity management of the Front of House team, including oversight of the bar and coffeehouse departments. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- must be able to communicate, write, and understand English
- must possess basic math skills and operate a cash register and POS system
- must have basic knowledge of Google Drive and internet navigation
- must have a current Food Worker card and TAM/TIPS card
- able to stand for extended periods
- able to occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch
- able to frequently lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally move objects up to 50 pounds
- close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus required
- full-time availability with minimum 45 hour work week

Job Duties
- Hire and train Front of House staff
- oversee productivity and performance of the Front of House team
- monitor operations of bar and coffeehouse departments
- motivate departments on sales building and relationship development
- provide positive and constructive feedback to staff
- support Front of House supervisors in coaching and evaluations
- monitor food quality and liaise with kitchen team
- manage labor budget and staff scheduling
- ensure staff certifications are up to date
- lead hiring process including interviews and orientations
- maintain Front of House training procedures
- perform opening and closing duties
- monitor employee and guest interactions
- handle guest complaints and feedback promptly
- proactively resolve guest issues
- maintain orderly dining room
- document staff and operations issues
- support Back of House management as needed
- communicate staff expectations and needs
