The current role of Front of House Manager offers an employment opportunity with an annual salary range between $62,000 and $72,000. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Front of House Manager plays a critical part in managing day-to-day operations within Company Clubs and Theater venues. This position demands strong communication skills, a capacity to multitask effectively, and the ability to lead teams to deliver superior food and beverage services along with outstanding customer experiences.
The role encompasses many responsibilities, such as scheduling, training, and managing staff while ensuring a positive work environment conducive to high performance. The Front of House Manager also collaborates closely with the culinary and marketing teams to manage and innovate the culinary program. They oversee financial elements, including budgets and inventory related to bar and concession stand operations to optimize cost results. The individual is responsible for managing beverage programs, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic purchases and training staff on proper beverage service adhering to local alcohol laws. Assisting with catering events linked to shows and maintaining good vendor relationships to further business success are also key aspects of the position.
The working hours are often extended from late afternoons into nights and weekends, reflecting the dynamic and event-driven nature of this role. Candidates are expected to bring creativity, attention to detail, and proven leadership skills to effectively handle the responsibilities and foster teamwork. The role also requires familiarity with finance, loss prevention, and human resources practices, alongside excellent computer skills for managing operational planning and decision-making.

Job Requirements
- Education at least high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience managing a team in a food and beverage environment
- certification in safe food handling and alcohol service
- ability to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
- knowledge of compliance with local alcohol laws
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in computer applications relevant to management

Job Duties
- Schedules, trains, manages, and develops staff
- manages budget and inventory
- trains and supervises alcoholic beverage service
- assists with catering events tied to shows
- establishes beverage program and seasonal specials
- purchases alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- manages culinary program in conjunction with WPC culinary and marketing team
- maintains a positive working relationship with staff, venue client and production team
- works with vendors to increase positive cost results
- works in conjunction with venue house managers regarding attendance and staffing to achieve maximum results
- oversees financial aspects of first class bar/concession stand operations
