Job Description
etch Restaurant is a prominent dining establishment known for delivering an exceptional and upscale dining experience at its Franklin location. As part of the renowned 4Top Hospitality group, etch distinguishes itself by blending global culinary inspirations with elegant service in a comfortable yet sophisticated setting. The restaurant boasts a spacious dining room alongside a bar area, private dining rooms, and an inviting outdoor patio, accommodating nearly 200 guests. Operating from Tuesday through Sunday, etch serves both lunch and dinner, with an additional weekend brunch service on Saturdays and Sundays, making it a vibrant hub for food enthusiasts in the region. The restaurant's commitment to quality and excellence is evident not only in its cuisine but also in its dedication to creating a memorable experience for its guests, making it a staple amongst Franklin's fine dining options.
The role of Front of House Manager at etch Restaurant is a pivotal position designed for an experienced, results-oriented individual with a passion for hospitality and leadership in a fine dining environment. Reporting directly within a supportive and collaborative management team, the Front of House Manager will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant's front of house department. This involves ensuring that guests receive top-tier service, maintaining the reputation that etch has carefully cultivated, and fostering a positive and rewarding work environment for all team members. Candidates should bring at least two years of recent management experience, ideally within upscale, high-volume restaurants, and a strong grasp of profit and loss management to drive operational success.
Key responsibilities include leading and motivating the front of house team through effective coaching, training, and clear communication. The manager will play a hands-on role, stepping in whenever necessary to support team members and enhance workflow. By creating weekly schedules targeted to meet business needs, the manager ensures smooth service delivery, while also controlling operational costs to contribute to the restaurant's profitability. Compliance with sanitation and safety regulations is paramount, alongside upholding service standards that align the front and back of house teams to provide a seamless and delightful dining experience.
Beyond the operational duties, the Front of House Manager will be an integral part of the culture at etch Restaurant, working diligently to maintain a mature and positive work environment where staff feel valued and motivated. The position offers competitive salary packages coupled with monthly profit sharing, alongside an Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) which enables team members to become part-owners of the company. Additional benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, free shift meals, and a 100% food discount for two at any of the 4Top Hospitality restaurants each pay period. The restaurant is also closed on major holidays such as July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve night, Christmas day, and Superbowl night to allow staff rest and celebration time.
Joining etch means becoming part of a growing family of restaurants under the 4Top Hospitality umbrella, known for chef-driven, innovative concepts that are steadily expanding across the southeastern United States. Working at etch is not just about a job but about building a career in a dynamic, employee-centered environment that values teamwork, quality, and growth. This opportunity is ideal for a driven individual looking to advance their career in restaurant management while contributing to a respected brand and a positive workplace culture.
