The Front of House Manager role at Root Down, a Mission Yogurt restaurant inside Denver International Airport, is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front-of-house team in a fast-paced airport environment. This role ensures that the guest experience is always exceptional by managing the service flow, addressing customer feedback swiftly and effectively, and upholding the brand's standards for safety, sanitation, and quality. The Front of House Manager will be hands-on, actively supporting the team to maintain smooth, efficient, and welcoming operations from open to close.

This position demands a proactive and organized professional who can coordinate restaurant management activities, enforce company values, and set the tone for a positive work environment. The manager will act as a liaison between the front-of-house staff and back-of-house leadership, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to meet operational goals. Employee relations, including hiring, onboarding, evaluations, scheduling, and conflict resolution, are critical components of the daily responsibilities.

Mission Yogurt offers competitive pay ranging from $57,500 to $65,000 annually plus a bonus program, making it an attractive opportunity for experienced restaurant managers. Additional benefits include paid employee parking or an RTD Eco-Pass, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) options, optional life and disability insurance, critical illness and accident coverage, hospital insurance, and even pet insurance. Benefits become effective the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a 10-year background check per TSA guidelines
  • must be able to work nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • must be physically able to work on feet for up to 12 hours
  • able to perform prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching overhead
  • able to lift products and supplies weighing 20 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions

Job Qualifications

  • At least two years of restaurant management experience
  • two years of bar experience
  • previous experience as a FOH manager, hospitality manager, supervisor, lead host, guest service manager, ASM, or general manager
  • ability to work nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays
