The Front of House Manager position for Root Down, located inside the Denver International Airport, is a hands-on leadership role crucial for daily restaurant operations. Job Requirements
- Must be able to pass a 10-year background check per TSA guidelines
- Must be able to work nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work on feet for up to 12 hours
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching overhead
- Ability to lift products and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Comfort with repetitive hand and wrist motions
Job Qualifications
- At least two years of restaurant management experience
- Two years of bar experience
- Previous experience as a FOH manager, hospitality manager, supervisor, lead host, guest service manager, ASM, or general manager
- Ability to work nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Effective employee relations and scheduling capabilities
Job Duties
- Coordinates daily restaurant management operations

- Responsible for employee relations, new hire paperwork, terminations, evaluations, scheduling, etc.
- Assesses work-related issues in a professional manner and exercises honest, non-biased judgment
- Ensures safety and security of both guests and team members
- Partners closely with BOH leadership to ensure smooth operations
