The role of the Front of House Manager at Bostons Restaurant and Sports Bar is a critical leadership position reporting directly to the General Manager. The primary responsibilities focus on overseeing the front of house operations, which includes managing and developing the team of servers, hosts, bartenders, and hourly supervisors to maintain superior service standards. The Front of House Manager plays a vital role in creating and sustaining a positive and energetic restaurant culture that promotes teamwork and high morale. Job Requirements
- must have 3-5 years of progressive management experience in a full-service restaurant
- must have proven leadership skills
- must possess knowledge of computers such as MS Word and Excel and Point of Sale system
- must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- must have strong analytical and decision-making skills
- must possess a strong sense of urgency and command presence management style
- must have leadership skills able to direct, coach, and supervise a team
- must have strong business acumen including understanding of budgets and operating costs
- must have strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Create, lead, and manage a positive and fun restaurant culture
- increase sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution
- lead, manage, and deliver a friendly guest focused experience
- schedule FOH team in accordance with budgeted targets and service goals
- maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the restaurant
- ensure operational and occupational health and safety standards are in place and followed
