The Front of House (FOH) Cashier role at Curry Up Now is a dynamic position essential to the restaurant's daily operations and overall guest satisfaction. This position is responsible for managing the first impression that guests have of the restaurant, acting as the welcoming face and primary point of contact. The FOH Cashier plays a vital role in taking orders, handling payments, and facilitating smooth customer service by balancing financial accountability and guest interaction. This role requires working closely with the restaurant management team, including the Restaurant Manager and General Manager, to ensure that all aspects of front-of-house operations are executed seamlessly.
In addition to managing the cash drawer and maintaining accuracy with sales receipts and end-of-day accounting processes, the FOH Cashier is also actively involved in various operational tasks. These include delivering food to tables, bussing and cleaning tables, cleaning restrooms, running drinks, and engaging with guests in a polite and friendly manner. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment where flexibility and multitasking are key, such as standing for prolonged periods, lifting heavy items, and assisting with food production during critical operational demands. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in the food business
- Bi-lingual is a plus
- Self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability and outgoing personality
- Pleasant, polite manner and neat appearance
- Good communication skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks effectively
- Basic knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel) and Point of Sale systems
- ServSafe and Food Handlers Certification
