Job Description

Broken Bow Brewery is a family-owned and operated establishment with a rich history spanning over 13 years. Located in a vibrant community, Broken Bow Brewery is known for its distinctive craft beers, exceptional hospitality, and community-focused atmosphere. Recently, the brewery has undergone extensive renovations to enhance the guest experience, including the addition of a fully equipped kitchen and an expanded tasting room that promises more space and comfort for visitors. This revitalization positions Broken Bow Brewery as a premier destination for craft beer enthusiasts and food lovers alike, combining traditional brewing expertise with modern amenities.

The brewery is currently hiring for several front-of-house positions as it reopens to the public. These roles are crucial to delivering an outstanding customer experience, maintaining smooth operations, and fostering a welcoming environment. The positions available include Bartenders, Bussers/Runners, and Guest Experience team members. Each role contributes uniquely to the overall success and enjoyment of patrons, whether through beverage service, assisting with food ordering, or enhancing the flow and atmosphere of the establishment.

The Bartender role involves beverage preparation and service, including mixing cocktails and crafting espresso drinks, as well as engaging guests through friendly interaction and beverage education. Bartenders also assist with bar food ordering support, handle cash transactions, manage tabs, maintain bar cleanliness, and contribute to a hospitality-focused environment. Responsibilities encompass both opening and closing duties, ensuring the bar operations run smoothly throughout service hours.

The Busser/Runner position is focused on supporting the operational flow by clearing and resetting tables, managing trash and dish removal, and keeping restrooms tidy. These team members restock service areas as needed and facilitate the transport of dirty dishes to the bar or kitchen, helping maintain an organized and efficient dining experience.

The Guest Experience role centers around welcoming visitors, assisting with seating or directing guests to communal areas, and aiding with the ordering process. This role demands excellent communication skills, as team members educate guests about beer selections, food offerings, daily specials, and membership rewards programs. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting online menu ordering issues, supporting table turnover, maintaining the dining room's light upkeep, and communicating any operational bottlenecks directly to management. This position is key to ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for every guest.

All front-of-house positions are part-time, offering up to 29 hours per week with shifts typically lasting 6 hours, covering both day and night periods across weekdays and weekends. Compensation varies by role, with Bussers/Runners earning $16 per hour plus 15 percent of pooled tips, while Bartenders and Guest Experience team members receive $11.30 per hour plus 85 percent of pooled tips. Additionally, employees enjoy paid time off and other perks that support work-life balance and employee well-being. Broken Bow Brewery prioritizes hiring quality candidates who are passionate about hospitality, teamwork, and contributing positively to the community-focused spirit of the brewery.
