Job Description
Walmart Supercenter #3858, located at 22100 S State Road 7 in Boca Raton, Florida, is part of one of the world's largest and most recognized retail companies. Walmart operates numerous supercenters nationwide, providing customers with a broad selection of merchandise, including groceries, apparel, electronics, home goods, and more. Known for its commitment to low prices and customer-centric service, Walmart continuously strives to enhance the shopping experience through innovation, quality service, and accessibility. The Boca Raton location serves its local community by offering a convenient and comprehensive retail option, ensuring shoppers find everything they need under one roof. Walmart's dedication to its associates is similarly paramount, focusing on providing a positive work environment, competitive wages, and comprehensive benefits.
This role offers part-time employment opportunities at Walmart Supercenter #3858, with shifts available during mid-shift and closing hours. The hourly wage ranges from $14 to $27 per hour, guaranteeing at least the minimum wage required by law for the job location. Additional compensation can come in the form of performance-based incentives, paid quarterly or annually, and premiums reflecting variations based on specific shifts, locations, or work conditions. These premiums range from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour and multiple premiums may apply simultaneously if the criteria are met. The position primarily involves providing front-end service as a Service Associate, focusing on compliance and excellent customer interaction. Associates greet customers with a friendly demeanor, assist with questions, manage financial transactions such as returns, refunds, and payments, and maintain a welcoming environment at the service desk. The role requires standing for extended periods and a readiness to assist customers promptly and professionally.
Working at Walmart also means gaining access to a variety of valuable benefits and perks aimed at improving associates’ quality of life. Employees receive competitive pay alongside a range of health benefits, including medical, vision, and dental coverage. Financial security is enhanced through programs such as 401(k), stock purchase plans, and company-paid life insurance. Walmart also provides paid time off benefits that cover personal leave, family care, bereavement, jury duty, and voting. Additional benefits include disability insurance, company discounts, Military Leave Pay, and reimbursement for adoption or surrogacy expenses. Training and career advancement are supported through the Live Better U program, which offers education benefits for high school completion, bachelor's degrees, English language improvement, and certificate programs—all fully paid for by Walmart. This extensive package demonstrates Walmart's investment in the wellbeing and professional growth of its employees.
Walmart remains highly committed to a safe, drug-free workplace, enforcing a no-tolerance policy toward illegal drug and alcohol use on the job. This environment ensures the safety and productivity of all associates and maintains the high standards customers expect. Join Walmart Supercenter #3858 as a Front End Service Associate to be part of a leading retail team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service within a supportive and rewarding workplace atmosphere.
