Currently, VISTA is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join their team in Springfield, VA, supporting a U.S. Intelligence Agency. This position is contingent upon contract award and requires an active Department of Defense security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). The Front-End Developer will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing user interfaces that are intuitive, responsive, and highly effective for the Technical Support Security Command (TSSC) applications. These applications are specifically tailored to meet the operational needs of technical security personnel.

The Front-End Developer will be responsible for creating seamless user experiences by translating complex UI/UX designs into high-quality, secure code that meets stringent security requirements for classified environments. The role demands expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks including React, Angular, or Vue and a strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles. The candidate will develop interactive data visualization components that present critical technical security data clearly and efficiently, enhancing decision-making within TSSC operations.

Additionally, the developer will optimize application performance, scalability, and accessibility to ensure that field personnel have reliable and fast access to necessary tools. Collaboration with back-end developers is essential for integrating front-end components with RESTful APIs to deliver cohesive, secure applications. The role also involves implementing user authentication and authorization interfaces to uphold strict compliance with security protocols.

Ideal candidates will bring at least eight years of front-end development experience, preferably within secure or classified environments. The role offers a competitive annual salary range between $150,000 and $195,000, reflective of the applicant’s experience and skills.
