The role of Front End Associate is essential to the operations of our retail branch locations. This position is a frontline customer service role responsible for ensuring a smooth, friendly checkout experience for customers entering the store. Employees in this role handle cashier duties, assist customers with their purchases, manage membership verification, and serve as the first point of contact for both in-store visitors and phone inquiries. Working in 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, the Front End Associate efficiently processes sales transactions, handles returns, and supports sales goals by creating an inviting shopping environment. This role contributes directly to the success of other business functions such as sales, order fulfillment, merchandising, and inventory control by maintaining an organized and customer-friendly front end.

In addition to transactional duties, the Front End Associate promotes positive customer interactions through problem-solving, clear communication about policies and memberships, and prompt assistance. Physical demands include standing or walking up to 9 hours a day, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
