The Front Desk & Guest Care position at Concord Hospitality is a pivotal role that centers on delivering outstanding guest experiences. Beyond greeting guests and facilitating check-in and check-out processes, this role involves handling financial transactions, managing guest communications with the utmost professionalism and privacy, and disseminating information about hotel programs and special offers. The position requires clear and effective communication skills, both with guests and internal departments, as well as readiness to respond quickly to inquiries from guests, visitors, and team members. Safety and emergency procedures knowledge is crucial, alongside a valid driver’s license and the flexibility to accommodate a 24/7 operation schedule.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage cash transactions accurately
  • Commitment to providing exceptional guest service
  • Understanding of hotel safety and emergency procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures
  • Familiarity with hotel safety and emergency protocols
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Assisting guests efficiently, courteously and professionally at all times
  • Maintain a high level of service and hospitality
  • Promptly and effectively deal with guest concerns or issues and see all are met to satisfaction in timely manner
  • Post guest charges, collect payments and follow all cash handling procedures as required by Concord
  • Handle guest mail and messages with respect to privacy and professionalism
  • Be knowledgeable of the hotel brand and various programs (travel programs, special offers)
  • Be a great communicator to various departments and management on guest comments and concerns
  • Respond quickly to incoming calls, lobby visitors and team members needing front desk assistance
  • Have full knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Must have the ability to have flexible scheduling due to business demands
