The Front Desk Team Member at Gold's Gym plays a crucial role in shaping the first impression and overall experience of the gym's members and visitors. This position acts as the initial point of contact, where team members greet and assist guests with a friendly and professional demeanor. The role involves tasks such as monitoring gym access, supporting administrative needs, answering inquiries about gym operations and policies, and ensuring that members and guests feel valued and well-cared for. As a Front Desk Team Member, you will be responsible for greeting members warmly as they enter, managing check-ins and guest registrations, maintaining security and control at the front door, and facilitating communications between members, personal trainers, and gym management. You will handle various administrative functions, including processing retail sales, managing inventory, logging maintenance and safety concerns, and assisting with membership sales and account changes. The role demands a flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays, and the physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Candidates interested in this position should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and have experience with POS and CRM systems used for transactions and member management. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Enthusiastically greet each member and guest promptly to create a friendly and positive entrance and departure to and from the gym
- Provide security and control to the front door and retail area of the facility
- Personally check each member into the gym using the proper check-in procedures
- Monitor check-ins to identify delinquent accounts and notify Gym Management
- Register all guests into the gym using proper registration procedures
- Ensure that guests and appointments are directed to the appropriate personal trainer in a prompt, professional manner
- Utilize the gym phone system to professionally answer guest calls, take appropriate messages to include name and description of question, and follow up with management for all telephone inquiries
