Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in front office operations or hospitality industry
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead, train and motivate a team
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with front office software systems such as MICROS
- Professional and friendly demeanor
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel front office management or a similar hospitality supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of property management systems such as MICROS or similar software
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
- Experience with guest service and problem resolution
- Basic computer proficiency
Job Duties
- Ensure proper staffing levels of front office associates, including interviewing, hiring, supervising, training and scheduling front desk agents, front office supervisors, guest service aides/bell staff, concierge staff and PBX operators
- Have complete understanding of front office staff's roles and duties and be able to perform duties at any given time
- Accurately manage and operate the MICROS system at the front office, including all daily transactions and those which are not performed often
- Accurately check AM and PM discrepancy reports
- Communicate with housekeeping and engineering departments regarding guest rooms, requests and maintenance requests/needs
- Efficiently process guest requests to the appropriate departments
- Greet and communicate cordially with guests, promptly and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel, answering questions, and assisting guests with needs
