We are currently seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to join the Historic Davenport Hotel’s team. This dynamic and customer-focused role is ideal for hospitality professionals who have a passion for leadership and guest service excellence. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out procedures, and providing outstanding guest service experiences. You will lead and motivate a team of front desk associates, handle guest inquiries and concerns professionally, and train new staff to uphold the hotel’s high standards. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments to resolve guest issues. The Front Desk Supervisor plays a crucial role in creating memorable guest experiences that align with the hotel’s reputation for quality and sophistication. Job Requirements

  • Prior cash handling experience necessary
  • High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members
  • Read, write and speak English fluently
  • Six months front desk experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Supervise front desk operations including check-in, check-out, and guest services
  • Lead and motivate the front desk team to provide exceptional customer service
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests professionally and efficiently
  • Train and onboard new front desk staff members
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of guest reservations and billing information
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve guest issues and enhance guest experiences
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with hotel policies and procedures
