We are currently seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal to the hotel’s daily operations and the overall guest experience. As the Front Desk Supervisor, you will lead and inspire the front desk team to provide exemplary customer service while maintaining all brand and company standards. This leadership position requires a proactive and attentive individual with a winning personality, who thrives on engaging with guests and team members alike. You will be stationed at the hub of the hotel, where guest interactions are most frequent, and your influence will directly impact guests' impressions and satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring that guests are checked in and out efficiently and pleasantly, managing guest communications such as mail and messages, and assisting with reservation requests and room blocks. You will have a thorough understanding of the hotel's operations, room inventory, rates, and amenities, which will enable you to support revenue management and front office strategies effectively. Additionally, maintaining a clean and welcoming lobby area is an essential part of the role, as is adhering to emergency and safety procedures to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality or front desk operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of customer service best practices
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous hospitality or front desk experience preferred
- Experience in supervisory or leadership roles preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
- Basic knowledge of hotel property management systems
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times
- Check guests in and out efficiently and in a friendly manner
- Handle guest mail and messages per established procedures
- Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, room rates, amenities, and selling strategies
- Take reservation requests efficiently
- Answer switchboard in accordance with standards of proper telephone etiquette
- Block rooms and handle special requests
- Monitor room availability and offer AGM and GM assistance in yield management and restrictions
- Handle safe deposits by guests per established procedures
- Keep lobby and desk area clean and presentable
- Have a thorough knowledge of emergency and security procedures
