Job Description

Our hotel is a dynamic and upscale hospitality establishment committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. Known for blending comfort, luxury, and impeccable service, our hotel caters to a diverse clientele ranging from business travelers to vacationing families. Our commitment to excellence has positioned us as a leading destination in the local market, recognized for our inviting atmosphere, outstanding amenities, and dedicated staff. The hotel industry demands a balance of operational efficiency and warm hospitality, both of which we prioritize to maintain high satisfaction levels and foster loyal guest relationships.

As a Front Desk Supervisor at our hotel, you will play a critical leadership role in managing the daily operations of several key departments including the Front Desk, Concierge, Night Audit, and Group Rooms Coordination. This full-time supervisory role requires flexibility to work various shifts to accommodate the needs of a 24/7 hospitality environment. The pay for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience, reflecting the crucial contribution you will make to our hotel's guest service standards.

Your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth functioning of front office operations while providing exceptional guest service and support. You will oversee and guide team members, including interviewing, training, scheduling, and motivating staff to achieve peak performance. This role mandates the capability to manage financial transactions accurately, maintain guest security protocols, and enforce compliance with internal policies and controls. You'll also act as a vital resource for both guests and staff by possessing an in-depth knowledge of the hotel's services, local attractions, and upcoming events, thereby enhancing the guest experience.

In addition to operational duties, you will work closely with the Hotel Front Office Manager to identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in implementing changes that elevate efficiency and service quality. Participating directly in front desk and concierge duties when necessary ensures you lead by example and maintain a maximum level of guest satisfaction. You will uphold the hotel's standards for cleanliness and safety in public spaces, particularly at the entrance and front desk area, reinforcing a welcoming environment.

This position requires a blend of interpersonal skills and administrative acumen. Your role involves addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally, providing feedback to leadership on guest preferences, and ensuring departmental staff perform in line with organizational policies. The Front Desk Supervisor will also have responsibilities for resolving internal complaints and team dynamics, guaranteeing a motivated and disciplined workplace that reflects the organization's mission and values.

Working in a hospitality setting means adapting to irregular schedules, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and public holidays. The physical demands involve standing, walking, and occasionally lifting items, emphasizing the active nature of the position. Our smoke-free hotel offers a comfortable environment with moderate noise levels, although noise can increase in certain areas like the casino floor.

By joining our team as a Front Desk Supervisor, you become a pivotal figure in maintaining our high standards and creating memorable experiences for all guests. You will contribute to a positive work culture through leadership and by embodying integrity and dedication to excellence. This role suits individuals passionate about hospitality management who thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and are committed to continuous improvement and guest satisfaction.
