The role of Front Desk Supervisor at FS Residential is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of the building's entry points and ensuring excellent customer service to residents, guests, and service providers. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will oversee and schedule all front desk staff, ensuring operational standards are met while providing training and support. Your responsibilities include managing schedules, timesheets, and payroll documentation, maintaining detailed logs and incident reports, and collaborating effectively with the Front Desk Coordinator and Property Manager. You will play a critical role in emergency response, security monitoring, and customer service, requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. The role demands physical capability to handle lifting and requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and respond to emergencies or callouts timely.

This position also involves administrative duties such as assisting with investigations, managing access control systems, monitoring emergency response protocols, and maintaining a secure and safe environment throughout the property. The Front Desk Supervisor must exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, effectively handle complex situations, and ensure that residents and guests have a positive experience. The varied schedule includes shifts on Fridays and Saturdays from 3:45pm to 12:15am, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7:45am to 4:15pm, with Sundays and Tuesdays off.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods
  • Ability to handle, finger, grasp, and lift objects and packages
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to work extended hours including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations promptly
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or property management preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred
  • College level courses in business or hospitality preferred
  • Two to three years of business experience preferred
  • Command of information system hardware/software preferred
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Multiple language fluency desirable
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to navigate the property/building quickly and easily
  • Ability to complete all required forms
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
  • Ability to respond to emergencies and callouts promptly
  • Proficient in maintaining logs and incident reports

Job Duties

  • Oversees and schedules all Front Desk staff for building
  • Maintains schedules and timesheets/cards for payroll purposes
  • Keeps track of activity logs and incident reports for the Manager's review
  • Collaborates with Front Desk Coordinator to fill shifts and provide training for new hires
  • Forwards vacation and day off requests to Front Desk Coordinator for approval
  • Assists in investigations and reviews tapes/logs for any unusual incidents
  • Supports Property Manager with administrative duties such as mailings
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills
  • Monitors Emergency Response System and Electronic Security Control Systems
  • Greets and directs residents, guests, and invitees
  • Responds promptly and efficiently to emergency situations
  • Controls access to the building
  • Maintains daily logs, records, and forms
  • Resolves and follows up on complaints and issues
  • Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the property
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Property Manager
  • Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment
