Job Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Two years combined prior front desk and supervisor experience
- Ability to stand and move throughout front office area continuously
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Strong communication skills in English
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to remain calm during emergency situations
- Willingness to work varying shifts including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Two years combined prior front desk and supervisor experience
- Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers requiring tact and diplomacy
- Considerable skill in using a calculator and performing mathematical calculations without error
- Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Ability to accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system
- Hearing and visual ability to detect signs of emergency situations
Job Duties
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff
- Assign and instruct front desk clerks in details of work
- Greet guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome
- Complete the registration process promptly by inputting and retrieving information from computer systems
- Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization and handle cash transactions
- Promptly answer the telephone using clear English and relay messages
- Remain calm and alert during emergencies and resolve customer complaints effectively
- Manage Third Party Internet billing and group arrivals
- Train new agents including cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with brand standards
- Monitor and track time and attendance of associates
- Act as Manager on Duty in absence of Front Office Manager
- Adhere to company policies, safety and security procedures
- Report accidents and unsafe conditions to management
- Maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance
- Assist other front desk personnel as needed
- Perform related duties as requested by management
