Established in 1986 and affiliated with Paydar Properties, Sunland RV Resorts has grown to manage ten properties with over 2,500 RV sites in prime locations including California, Florida, and Michigan. This well-established brand is recognized for its commitment to exceptional guest experiences, eco-friendly accommodations such as eco-cottages, and a variety of site rental and lot ownership options. The company is devoted to advancing the recreational travel industry through resort development, strategic partnerships, and outstanding guest services, placing it among the top leaders in its sector. Sunland’s marketing and production team enhances the company’s growth by driving revenue, boosting guest awareness, and strengthening brand recognition. The work culture emphasizes employing the very best people who are trained and empowered to deliver quality products with sensational service to every guest, every time, ensuring a rewarding and positive work environment.
The Front Desk Supervisor position at Sunland RV Resorts, based in San Diego, CA, is a critical role within the resort team. Reporting directly to the Resort Manager, the Front Desk Supervisor plays a pivotal role in helping achieve the property’s goals by managing guest services personnel and ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for all guests. The supervisor is responsible for handling inbound and outbound communications, including calls and web chats, and providing concierge services, thereby acting as the face of the resort for both existing and potential guests. Beyond maintaining excellent customer service, this role involves guiding guests through the reservation process, upselling properties using sales scripts and comprehensive resort knowledge, and meeting or exceeding call, occupancy, and revenue targets on daily, weekly, and monthly bases. The Front Desk Supervisor also supports marketing initiatives by maintaining mailing lists and providing promotional feedback, works closely with guests to encourage new customer referrals, and assists with event planning and coordination within the resort.
This full-time role demands a dynamic individual capable of multitasking in a busy resort environment, thinking on their feet, handling guest complaints or concerns with courtesy and efficiency, and motivating staff to uphold high standards of service. Candidates should have strong telephone, customer service, and problem-solving skills, possess intermediate to advanced computer proficiency, and have relevant experience in hospitality or customer service. Availability on weekends and holidays along with a valid driver’s license and insurability are essential. Preferred candidates will also have experience with reservation software, front desk operations in RV resorts or hotels, and bilingual abilities. Sunland RV Resorts offers a rewarding and fun workplace, recognizing the importance of each team member's role in contributing to the overall guest satisfaction and company success.
