As a Front Desk Supervisor at Concord Hospitality, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring guests receive outstanding service from the moment they arrive until their departure. You will lead the front desk team, providing guidance, motivation, and oversight to ensure a smooth and welcoming check-in and check-out process. The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for overseeing various operational aspects of the front desk, including managing reservations, handling guest inquiries, and coordinating with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. You will maintain thorough knowledge of the hotel's staff, room locations, rates, amenities, and promotional strategies to provide accurate information to guests and assist with selling efforts. It is also your responsibility to monitor room availability and work alongside the Assistant General Manager and General Manager on yield management and restrictions to maximize hotel profitability.

In addition to guest service duties, the role involves administrative tasks such as handling guest mail and messages, managing guest safe deposits, and ensuring that the lobby and front desk areas are clean and presentable at all times. Knowledge of emergency and security procedures is crucial, as you will be responsible for the safety and security of guests and staff in your area. This role requires excellent multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to remain professional and composed under pressure.

Job Duties

  • Provide the highest quality of service to guests at all times
  • Check guests in and out efficiently and in a friendly manner
  • Handle guest mail and messages with professionalism and accuracy
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, rates, amenities, and selling strategies
  • Take reservations and manage room blocks and special requests
  • Answer switchboard calls following proper telephone etiquette standards
  • Monitor room availability and assist AGM/GM with yield management and restrictions
  • Handle guest safe deposits per established procedures
  • Keep the lobby and desk area clean and presentable
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of emergency and security procedures
