Currently, Hotel Murano is seeking a dedicated and motivated Front Desk Supervisor to join their Front Desk team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a team-oriented environment, demonstrates leadership by example, and engages guests with professionalism and warmth. The Front Desk Supervisor will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for creating memorable "Wanderlust" experiences by providing exceptional customer service, managing check-ins and check-outs accurately, and addressing guest concerns to ensure their satisfaction. The role involves supervising daily front desk operations, coaching team members, coordinating with maintenance and housekeeping departments, managing inventory for the Sundries shop, and promoting special hotel programs. This position requires a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, and offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $23.00 to $24.00 per hour.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • help guests discover their wanderlust experience
  • provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest
  • check guests in, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is established
  • help to resolve problems and wow guests through recovery when things aren't quite right
  • supervise daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures
  • conduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms, including VIPs, repeat guests, packages, and special requests
  • work closely with maintenance and housekeeping teams to communicate and coordinate the day
  • train, direct, resolve issues, coach, and counsel front desk team members to ensure quality operation
  • maintain the sundries shop inventory and ordering
  • train all new front desk agents to provide exceptional customer service
  • promote and sell special hotel programs
  • interact with hotel and resort staff professionally, assisting other departments
  • be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and policies
  • maintain the house bank
  • communicate pertinent information to manager on duty
  • follow set procedures on posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds
  • assist other departments as needed
