Job Description

Gravity Haus is a dynamic community-driven adventure lifestyle brand that encompasses a collection of hotels, restaurants, and thoughtfully curated experiences designed to empower a modern way of travel. Rooted deeply in the spirit of the outdoors and intentional living, Gravity Haus creates inspiring spaces where travelers and locals converge to connect, recharge, and engage in play. Their offerings reflect a commitment to sustainability, wellness, and adventure, making them a unique player in the hospitality industry. The company culture is anchored by core values such as Keep Growing, Bring Others Along, Create Powerful Moments, Be "All-In" + Go the Distance, and Make it Better than You Found It. These values permeate every aspect of their operation, fostering growth, inclusivity, and exceptional guest experiences. Joining Gravity Haus means becoming part of a forward-thinking, values-driven community that prioritizes meaningful connections, adventure, and sustainable living.

The role of Front Desk Specialist, also known as Haus Experience Specialist, at Gravity Haus is pivotal to the guest experience and operational success of their properties. This full-time position is the first point of contact for members and guests, setting the tone for their stay with warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality. The specialist is responsible for managing all guest interactions from check-in to check-out, including reservation handling through the Property Management System (PMS), responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, and resolving service issues with professionalism and empathy. In addition to guest services, the role involves actively engaging with members by promoting Gravity Haus Membership benefits, facilitating unique "Member for a Day" experiences, and providing personalized local recommendations to enrich each guest's visit.

Operational excellence is a key focus, requiring the Front Desk Specialist to maintain an organized and welcoming front desk environment, ensure accurate guest data and billing, and collaborate seamlessly with housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and marketing teams. This position demands strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask under pressure, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for the outdoors, wellness, and sustainability. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in hospitality or customer service, preferably in a hotel setting, and be comfortable using hospitality systems such as PMS, OpenTable, or Slack. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Working at Gravity Haus offers more than just employment – it provides an opportunity to be part of a community that values growth, connection, and impactful moments. Full-time employees benefit from health insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, and an All-In Gravity Haus Membership, which includes perks like discounted stays, gear rentals, and wellness programming. Part-time benefits vary. The role is ideal for individuals eager to make a positive difference in both the hospitality industry and their local community, sharing a passion for adventure, sustainable living, and exceptional guest service.
