We are currently seeking a motivated and organized Hotel Front Desk Representative to join our dynamic hospitality team. As a Front Desk Representative, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of daily hotel activities. This position involves welcoming guests with warmth and professionalism, efficiently handling check-in and check-out procedures, managing reservations, and addressing guest inquiries and special requests. The role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and exhibits attention to detail and organizational ability. Moreover, the ideal candidate will be proficient with hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite while maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism under pressure.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with various hotel departments such as housekeeping and maintenance to coordinate services, resolve any guest issues promptly, and maintain accurate records of guest information and financial transactions. Additionally, the position includes responsibilities such as ensuring the Front Desk area remains organized and fully stocked with necessary supplies.   • Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and tact
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for computer work, phone operation, and handling documents
  • Ability to communicate clearly in person and by phone
  • Occasional bending, reaching, and stooping
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20-25 pounds
  • Visual ability to read screens, reports, and guest information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions

Job Duties

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently
  • Check billing instructions and guest credit for compliance with hotel credit policy and ensure all transactions are handled in a secure manner
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications with accuracy
  • Address guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information, billing, and financial transactions
  • Keep an organized Front Desk area and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked
  • Perform other duties as assigned by hotel leadership
