The company is powered by an inclusive and dedicated team of individuals committed to upholding its core values and delivering memorable experiences to guests, residents, and partners alike. At Four Seasons, there is a strong emphasis on fostering a supportive team environment characterized by respect, growth, and genuine care for both colleagues and guests, aligning with the philosophy of treating others the way one wishes to be treated. This environment promotes a culture that recognizes both familiar faces and newcomers, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
This position is based at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco, an iconic urban retreat located at 345 California Center. The hotel boasts panoramic views of the bay and city skyline from its top floors, ranking among the most prestigious locations in downtown San Francisco. The property offers easy access to prominent landmarks such as Union Square, the Ferry Building, and Fisherman’s Wharf, including Pier 39. The Four Seasons San Francisco is a 48-storey luxury hotel that embodies the brand's commitment to outstanding hospitality and world-class guest experiences.
The role in focus is a Front Desk Agent position, offering an hourly wage of $36.66. In this crucial role, the successful candidate will represent the hotel's frontline hospitality, interacting with guests to ensure efficiency, friendliness, and adherence to Four Seasons' service standards. Responsibilities include welcoming guests upon arrival, using their names to create personalized experiences, ensuring guests receive the correct room and rates, managing luggage arrangements, and efficiently issuing room keys. The role demands upselling to maximize room revenue and handling guest check-outs, including billing, collecting keys, and confirming guest satisfaction. Accurate cash handling and bank balancing are essential parts of the role, along with currency exchange services.
The Front Desk Agent serves as the primary point of contact for guests, providing answers to inquiries regarding hotel services, operation hours, personnel, events, and directions. The job requires handling guest requests courteously and promptly in person and via phone, addressing and resolving complaints with professionalism. This role demands excellent multi-tasking abilities and the capacity to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Candidates must demonstrate superior communication skills, both verbal and written, and possess a hospitable personality to quickly establish rapport with guests.
Current Four Seasons employees, bilingual individuals, and those with luxury hotel experience are especially encouraged to apply. The position requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed. Besides a competitive salary, employees benefit from a comprehensive package including distinguished training and development programs, employee discounts across Four Seasons locations worldwide, complimentary uniform dry cleaning, and employee meals. With a focus on inclusion and equal opportunity, Four Seasons invites applicants from diverse backgrounds to join its esteemed team, reflecting its dedication to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
