Job Description
We are a healthcare facility located in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, dedicated to delivering compassionate and efficient medical services to our local community. Our establishment focuses on providing patient-centered care in a welcoming and professional environment. As a full-time employer, we value our staff and strive to create a supportive workplace where employees can grow their careers while making a positive impact on patients' lives. We offer a competitive salary starting at $22.00 per hour along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the health and well-being of our staff.
The Front Desk Receptionist role is a critical position within our medical office. This person will be the initial point of contact for every patient, setting the tone for their healthcare experience. Responsibilities include managing patient intake efficiently, scheduling appointments with accuracy, verifying insurance details, and ensuring that all patient interactions uphold our high standards for care quality and confidentiality. The receptionist will also be tasked with maintaining patient records in our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, supporting HIPAA compliance, and managing the front desk environment to be both clean and welcoming. Flexibility in working rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and some weekend days, is essential for success in this role. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Prior experience in a medical setting and bilingual abilities in Spanish are advantageous but not mandatory. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a collaborative healthcare team that prioritizes both patient and employee satisfaction.
