As part of this dynamic team, the Receptionist at America's Best plays a crucial role as the first point of contact for customers visiting the stores. This position requires a welcoming and friendly demeanor to greet and assist customers upon arrival, ensuring an exceptional customer experience from start to finish. Receptionists are integral to the operational flow of the store, maintaining organized patient records and managing appointment schedules to support smooth daily operations. They provide courteous service through phone and in-person interactions, acting as the backbone that keeps the store functioning efficiently.
The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and are committed to upholding high standards of service. Receptionists are expected to handle multiple responsibilities, including answering and directing phone calls according to company protocols, processing managed care plans, providing accurate information to customers, scheduling appointments and follow-ups, and managing patient files. Additionally, the position offers the benefit of Sundays off, as the stores remain closed on that day, promoting a balanced work schedule.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluent in reading and speaking both English and Spanish
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple phone lines preferred
- 0-2 years related experience or training preferred
Job Qualifications

- Experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role preferred but not required

Job Duties
- Ensures high quality customer service while following all safety protocols
- Ensures a smooth flow of customers through the store
- Answers, screens, and forwards incoming phone calls in accordance with National Vision protocol
- Processes and understands managed care plans while obtaining document information from the insurance company as needed
- Provides customers basic and accurate information
- Schedules and confirms appointments, follow-up visits and classes
- Files all patient records daily and pulls patient files for the next day's appointments
