Job Qualifications

  • Fluent in reading and speaking both English and Spanish
  • Experience as a receptionist or front office representative preferred but not required
  • 0-2 years related experience or training preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Ensure high quality customer service while following all safety protocols
  • Ensure a smooth flow of customers through the store
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls according to National Vision protocol
  • Process and understand managed care plans and obtain necessary insurance information
  • Provide customers with basic and accurate information
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits and classes
  • File patient records daily and prepare files for next day’s appointments
  • Check order status and notify customers of order readiness or delays
  • Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies
  • Participate in scheduled communication meetings
