We are currently seeking Receptionists to join our team at America’s Best. This role is pivotal as the first point of contact for customers visiting or calling the store, creating a welcoming and professional environment. Receptionists are responsible for greeting customers in a friendly manner immediately upon arrival and managing patient records with accuracy and care. Ensuring smooth scheduling and facilitating the daily flow of patients are vital aspects of the role, serving as the operational glue that keeps the store functioning efficiently.
The Receptionist role requires providing prompt and courteous service to customers. Responsibilities include answering and screening phone calls firmly aligned with National Vision’s protocols, scheduling, and confirming appointments, and managing communications related to insurance and managed care plans. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills to maintain patient records, manage office supplies, and keep the reception area tidy and welcoming.

Job Requirements
- Education: high school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years related experience or training preferred
- fluent in reading and speaking both English and Spanish
- strong customer service skills

Job Duties
- Ensure high quality customer service while following all safety protocols
- ensure a smooth flow of customers through the store
- answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in accordance with national vision protocol
- process and understand managed care plans while obtaining document information from the insurance company as needed
- provide customers basic and accurate information
- schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits and classes
- file all patient records daily and pull patient files for the next day’s appointments
