The role of Receptionist at America's Best is a vital position within the company's retail stores, acting as the welcoming face and helping to streamline the flow of daily operations. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have open availability Monday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
- Ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Ability to maintain organized patient records
- Basic understanding of managed care plans
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to maintain a tidy and presentable reception area
Job Qualifications
- Fluent in reading and speaking English and Spanish
- Experience as a receptionist, front office representative or similar role preferred but not required
- 0-2 years related experience or training preferred
- Experience handling multiple phone lines preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
Job Duties
- Ensures high quality customer service while following all safety protocols
- Ensures a smooth flow of customers through the store
- Answers, screens, and forwards incoming phone calls in accordance with company protocol
- Processes and understands managed care plans and obtains necessary insurance information
- Provides customers with basic and accurate information
- Schedules and confirms appointments, follow-up visits and classes
- Files patient records daily and prepares files for upcoming appointments
- Checks order status and notifies customers about order readiness or delays
- Keeps reception area tidy and stocked with necessary materials
- Receives, sorts, and distributes daily mail and deliveries
- Maintains inventory of office supplies
- Participates in mandatory communication meetings regularly
