Job Description

America's Best is a distinguished brand under the umbrella of National Vision, one of the largest optical retailers in the United States. With over 1,000 stores nationwide, America's Best offers a comprehensive optical experience by combining eyewear and eye care services at a single, affordable price point. The company has built a strong reputation for making quality eye care accessible and affordable for everyone, aligning with National Vision's mission that 'everyone deserves to see their best to live their best.' For more detailed insights, visit AmericasBest.com. America's Best is a rapidly growing optical retailer dedicated to providing exceptional service and quality products to its customers. Its stores serve as one-stop locations where customers can receive professional eye examinations and browse an extensive collection of eyewear options, ensuring both vision care and fashionable styles are available under one roof.

The role of Receptionist at America's Best is a vital position that serves as the welcoming face of the store. Receptionists are responsible for delivering friendly, professional service to all customers promptly as they enter the store or contact by phone. They organize and maintain patient records meticulously while ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of appointments and patient schedules. Receptionists act as the operational glue that helps keep every aspect of the store running efficiently and ensures the team can focus on providing excellent eye care and eyewear solutions. This role is not only customer service-focused but also integral to administrative functions such as managing communications, insurance documentation, appointment scheduling, and inventory upkeep.

As part of the company's commitment to employee well-being, America's Best stores are closed on Sundays, providing a regular day off for this role. This scheduling perk highlights the company’s focus on work-life balance. The position demands exceptional organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks, including answering phone lines, processing managed care plans, and keeping the reception area presentable and welcoming. The Receptionist must provide accurate information to customers, manage patient records daily, coordinate appointment confirmations and follow-ups, and handle orders with timely updates for customers. Beyond serving customers, Receptionists help maintain a tidy front office environment and assist with sorting mail, managing deliveries, and inventory control. Participation in communication meetings ensures Receptionists stay informed and aligned with company goals and policies.

Americas Best values candidates with a service-oriented mindset, quick adaptability, and strong communication skills. While prior experience as a Receptionist or Front Office Representative is preferred, it is not mandatory, as training and support are provided. The company requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, emphasizing the importance of educational basics combined with strong organizational and customer service capabilities. Joining America's Best means becoming part of a team committed to professional growth, employee support, and a rewarding career path. The company offers competitive pay, bonus opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package that supports employees and their families. Benefits include retirement savings plans with company match, paid sick time, parental leave, employee eyewear discounts, and scholarship programs. The company’s focus on internal promotion and career development ensures that employees not only find a job but a flourishing career. America's Best is an inclusive, equal opportunity employer dedicated to fostering a diverse and respectful workplace.
