The role of the Receptionist at Oak Creek Terrace is vital in maintaining the smooth operation and welcoming atmosphere of the facility. This part-time position requires working on Saturdays and Sundays every other weekend, from 8 am to 7 pm, offering a competitive pay rate between $14 and $18 per hour. Job Duties
- Answer and operate telephone console, determine nature of calls and direct callers to appropriate individuals or departments
- Greet, direct, and provide information to visitors, guests, residents, sales representatives, and employees
- Operate intercom and paging system to locate personnel as requested
- Communicate emergencies, problems, or unusual events to supervisors or appropriate personnel
- Maintain written communication log of events for each shift
- Communicate positively with team members, residents, families, visitors, and vendors
- Adhere to facility policies including infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations
- Maintain a calm, supportive and caring environment for residents and staff
- Comply with safety and sanitation procedures including universal precautions
- Attend in-service programs, educational workshops, and meetings as required by the facility and state
