Job Description

Gateway Pediatric Therapy is a distinguished provider of specialized pediatric therapy services focused on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children and adolescents aged 2-21 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities, and other language delays. As an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, Gateway Pediatric Therapy is deeply committed to enriching the lives of children through compassionate, individualized care and evidence-based therapeutic practices. The organization operates with a mission to empower children and support their families by creating dynamic, flexible treatment programs that adapt to each child's unique developmental needs. Situated in Kentwood and Grand Rapids, Michigan, Gateway Pediatric Therapy offers a serene and supportive environment where experienced therapists collaborate closely with families and interdisciplinary teams to foster meaningful progress and promote overall well-being.

The Front Desk Receptionist position at Gateway Pediatric Therapy plays a crucial role in sustaining the high quality of service by serving as the first point of contact for families, clients, and visitors. This dynamic role requires availability primarily during business hours, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm, with some Saturday hours from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, and flexibility to work onsite at both the Kentwood and Grand Rapids facilities. The ideal candidate in this role demonstrates not only administrative proficiency but also a deep compassion and genuine passion for working with children and their families. This individual will perform a variety of essential duties, including answering phones, managing messages, transferring calls efficiently, and maintaining a clean, welcoming clinic environment. Physical ability to be active and move quickly is important along with skills in multitasking and problem solving to ensure smooth daily operations.

The Front Desk Receptionist contributes significantly to the supportive atmosphere by fostering friendly, respectful interactions with clients, families, therapists, and other staff members. This role demands professionalism, clear and effective communication skills, and a commitment to confidentiality concerning all client information. As the gateway between families and therapeutic services, the receptionist also acts as a team player collaborating closely with colleagues to facilitate a positive and encouraging climate within the clinic. This opportunity is ideal for candidates seeking to combine administrative expertise with a meaningful career in pediatric therapy support, enhancing child-focused service delivery within an organizationthat values dedication, integrity, and continuous growth.
