Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year office experience
  • Two years medical office experience preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Basic computer skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Willingness to travel to other office locations as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year office experience required two years medical office experience preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with office software and phone systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Provide superior patient care services treating all patients and guests with compassion and respect
  • Greet all patients and guests with a smile and helpful manner
  • Communicate effectively with patients guests colleagues and physicians
  • Provide patients with necessary instructions or directions
  • Process patient documentation and update patient demographics with accuracy
  • Triage incoming calls promptly and in a pleasant manner review all phone messages and return calls timely or direct messages to appropriate person
  • Verify insurance and determine if prior authorizations or referrals are required for upcoming appointments
  • Close-out daily batches promptly and with accuracy
  • Maintain a clean and organized waiting room and work area
  • Travel to surrounding offices to provide front desk coverage when needed
  • Adhere to policies and procedures uphold ethical principles and patient confidentiality
  • Comply with all State and Federal regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business operational needs
