The Front Desk Receptionist role at AVANT is a unique opportunity for an administrative professional who thrives in environments where they can contribute meaningfully to the community. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will handle a variety of duties ranging from greeting visitors and managing communication channels like phones and emails, to scheduling appointments and maintaining front desk operations. This position requires strong multitasking abilities and the skill to maintain a calm and safe environment while managing potentially sensitive situations. You will also assist with administrative tasks including data entry and document preparation, and help ensure that shared spaces remain organized and respectful.

The position is suited for someone with experience in receptionist, administrative, or customer service roles, and a desire to support others with empathy and understanding. This is a full-time, temporary position with a schedule of Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week, with the potential for employment extension or permanent placement (temp-to-hire).   • Minimum 1 year of receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience

Job Duties

  • Handle admin tasks like data entry, document prep, and confidential records
  • Help keep shared spaces calm, safe, and respectful
  • Use deescalation and conflict-resolution skills when needed
