Handling package receipts, mail sorting, and the distribution of internal communications also form essential functions of this position. - Previous experience in customer service, reception, or administrative support
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and email systems

Job Duties
- Operate the main telephone console and respond to incoming calls
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person, department, or office
- Receive and sign for packages, mail deliveries, and photocopies
- notify recipients of deliveries
- Sort incoming and outgoing mail and assist with general clerical duties for Operations
- Maintain and organize the front desk area, including first aid kits and lost and found items
- Distribute faxes and internal mail to faculty and staff mailboxes
- Restock office supplies and copier paper as needed
- Maintain awareness of institutional updates to provide accurate information to the CIIS community
- Work collaboratively with departments across the university to provide efficient service
- Follow emergency procedures and communicate urgent information to appropriate personnel or emergency services when necessary
- Report any observed or reported safety concerns or incidents to the Clery Team and Facilities and Business Operations
