This organization operates with a strong sense of purpose and dedication to offering comprehensive, compassionate care in an accessible and welcoming setting.
The Front Desk Receptionist (Bilingual Spanish) position at Astrana Health forms a crucial part of the Clinic Operations team. This full-time role is designed for a friendly, detail-oriented, and bilingual individual who can effectively serve as the welcoming face of the primary care clinic. Offering a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $24.00, the role entails managing patient interactions from initial contact through check-in procedures and ensuring seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers.
As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be responsible for greeting patients as they arrive, answering incoming calls via a multi-line phone system, and directing inquiries to the appropriate healthcare staff members. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining the reception area’s cleanliness and organization, handling data entry and filing tasks, and ensuring clinic security by controlling access through the front desk. Efficiency in multitasking, prioritizing workloads in fast-paced settings, and flexibility to work occasional overtime are essential to thrive in this role.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, will enable you to interact comfortably with patients, healthcare providers, and clinic staff. Fluency in Spanish is mandatory to facilitate clear communication and support the diverse needs of the clinic’s patient population. Your familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for scheduling and patient updates will be a valuable asset in ensuring smooth administrative operations.
This position operates from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a lunch break at 12:30 p.m., and requires on-site attendance at the Riverside location. Astrana Health promotes an equal employment opportunity environment, valuing diversity and inclusivity across all facets of the workforce.
